"Office US" sequel greenlighted at Peacock

The streamer, exclusive home of the original, picks up the latest effort from execs Greg Daniels and Michael Koman, where the docu crew that epitomized Dunder Mifflin moves on to a "dying historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it with volunteer reporters."

I'm glad it's more of a spiritual sequel than an outright reboot - the press says it's the same documentary crew from "The Office" - so I'm inclined to give it a chance.

I suspect there might be more interaction with the “documentary” crew in the new series… it started to happen towards the end of the original US Office and I the creative team seemed to like it
