Including "March Madness®," after the head of one of the National Institutes of Health told a congressional panel that large gatherings should be forbidden, which in turn was after the governor of Ohio (set to host multiple men's tourney games) called for just that in his state...

(There's prolly enough pundits hoping to just see events cancelled altogether... it's already happened with at least one of the "invitationals" in which those that don't make the men's field play on.)

I have never attended March Madness but just about everyone I talked to who has said it's the spectator event of a lifetime.  Game after game, frequently exciting. You feel heartbreak for teams you'd never watched before.

I am really curious how 'exciting' watching the TV games will appear.   The camera cuts to the crowd will only show the family members in front-row seats.   Gonna be really weird.

....from a guy that has a Case #1 today in their home city.

You won't get that chance. Just in the last few minutes all remaining NCAA championships events for this school year were called off...


MLB and Minor League Baseball have postponed the start of their seasons...


...and NASCAR reported that their next two national-series weekends, Atlanta and Homestead, will be run, but spectatorless... the latter due to the local government banning large gatherings... and the IndyCar race in St Pete will also shut out fans...
