Colbert's brokered replacement Byron Allen talks with THR about him going after the premium channel/streamer (after he just bought BuzzFeed and claiming that he will make it profitable) and saying that he is not surprised that "The Late Show" reportedly lost $40M for CBS, saying that anything expensive that has to hand off to infomercials is not going to make money:
Right now, in Chicago "Comics Unleashed" hands off to another half-hour of "Comics Unleashed," followed by a repeat of the 10 p.m. local news, another "Comics Unleashed" and then an infomercial before repeats of "ET" and Tony Dokupil, so...I don't know...
