The third hour of the Eye's morning show, titled "CBS Mornings Plus" (I didn't want to do the salute to the opening of "Password Plus" this time), will air at 9 a.m. starting Sept. 30 on KCBS Los Angeles, WBBM Chicago, KPIX San Francisco, WWJ Detroit and WFOR Miami, along with the CBS News streamer--Tony Dokoupil from the mainline show will be hosting along with Adriana Diaz:
On the five linear stations, the third hour is replacing local news and/or Drew Barrymore (remember, her show is produced as two separate half-hours). Since Drew is now unavoidable, she'll be seen on those stations later in the day (and likely on a second station that may or may not owned by CBS). The competition, of course, is the third hour of "Today" and "Live!", which has survived Regis' retirement by an amazing thirteen years. (Yeah, "The 700 Club" is competition in some markets, if you really want it.)
