I wouldn't rule it out, but I wouldn't rule it in.

She's moderately well known, although her daytime show only aired on ITV2 here, so would never have got much more than modest viewing figures. Back when she had her sitcom, that aired on Channel 4 in primetime. 

There are plenty of shows she could guest on if she wanted to, but I can't see anyone giving her a show of her own ahead of someone British. 

There'll be no problem with her wife getting acting work. For a start, there's plenty of US productions that shoot over here and across Europe anyway because of the generous tax breaks, and British shows are always after American actors based over here.
