His last show is tonight and he's not expected to be on Fox TV in the future.

About a dozen years too late. But Larry Kudlow won’t be any better.

I dunno, Larry Kudlow is somewhat useful as a contrarian indicator. If he says something will happen, you can bet that it won't.

That was his only virtue on CNBC... but they still have Jim Cramer for that. Unfortunately.

This is curious. I have read a few stories and no one seems to know why the No. 1 show on a low-rated network got cancelled.
I suspect we will find out more in the next few months.

Lou Dobbs' Twitter account tweeted that he was promoting Trump's false election claims, and then deleted it.

It’s possible, as some have suggested, that Dobbs was thrown overboard to show it is addressing the serious allegations made by Smartmatic. Appearing on CNN’s “Reliable Sources,” NPR media correspondent David Folkenflik brought up how Rupert Murdoch, owner of Fox News, handled some of his news tabloids in London during the phone-hacking scandals.

Folkenflik told host Brian Stelter, “They would throw somebody over the side and see if that was enough. This is an effort to cauterize the wound to distance Fox from this feverish conspiracy theory.”

I have a problem with Fox News openly firing Dobbs in response to the Dominion and Smartmatic lawsuits as it's a sign that FNC knows it did wrong. But the Murdoch media empire has been through this before and they can make strategic decisions. They're probably working toward a settlement where they don't have to admit wrongdoing.

I assume as part of this they told Dobbs, Pirro, and Bartiromo to drop election fraud stories and cover the new administration. Dobbs refused to drop the fraud claims and they canceled his show.
