Craig Tennis started out on "The Tonight Show" in 1968 and moved with Carson to Burbank, leaving in 1976 after giving TV breaks to Billy Crystal and Freddie Prinze, among others--he had other TV gigs including Letterman's morning show, wrote plays and a 1980 tell-all about Carson and along with eleven other ex-New Yorkers founded the Studio City industry bar Re$iduals--of heart disease Tuesday at his Fallbrook, CA home per former KFI Radio LA news anchor Bree Tennis, his wife of 42 years:
