His first name came from the Cherokee name for the birds nesting near his Oklahoma home, known as martins in English (oddly, William Martin was his baptismal name)... but more importantly, one of those folks that was in everything... Friday in L.A.; 93.

I mentioned McQ in the thread in Roger E Mosley. Clu was in that too, and his understated acting style was clearly distracting to Wayne, who would stare at him in scenes as though Clu was in a coma.
