The AMC mystery series set in gloomy Seattle that shot itself in the foot in the first season by not resolving the initial murder in that season was cancelled earlier this year, but thanks to a deal with Netflix, the show's coming back for a third season--it would air on AMC before being made available to the streaming service:

I know Dave  hated that show, but I kind of dug that, and greet this as good news.

Meanwhile the 3rd and final series of the original Danish production has started airing in Denmark, and we get it in the UK from next week. Well worth checking out if it's on DVD or on a streaming service like Netflix. The first series in particular is excellent.
