Service Electric's systems (at least the ones managed out of northwestern Bethlehem) have talked multiple networks including most of the newsers to offer temporary freebies (the premium nets do it only sporadically) to even low-end customers like moi...

Can't imagine the Bristol bunch nor the two Philly NBC sportsers getting into the fray, but who knows for sure...

my local cableco (eastlink.ca -- no relation) added a bunch of rotating channels about a week ago.   if my memory serves me right, it was mostly couch-potato content :)

Just got an email from Verizon offering the same channels for free (plus a yoga channel) for the whole month of April.

Xfinity is offering:
Starz through Monday 4/6 (I plan to spend the weekend watching "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood")
Showtime through 4/19
Epix thru 4/19 (they've got "Rocketman" and the first 40 years' worth of Bond movies)
Acorn TV thru 4/9 (I've been watching the 1989 "The Saint" series starring Simon Dutton - yes, I'm weird that way)
Hallmark Movies Now thru 4/25
Hitz thru 4/16
and various other channels that I've never heard of, and lots of complete series. Who knows how long this will be extended.

Yes, we are in the Kansas City metro area, and have Comcast Xfinity. We got the free Starz preview weekend, and watched Once Upon a Time in Hollywood last night. Really enjoyed it. The soundtrack is spectacular, the story is engaging, and the acting is outstanding.

I finally got to see the last episode of "Berlin Station" (my cable company moved Epix to a separate pay tier a few days before the finale aired). Clearly they thought they'd get picked up, but nein.
