I actually liked the Murphy Brown reboot, but 13 episodes was sufficient.

I will give praise to the WKRP series that occurred in the ‘90s, featuring most of the original cast in recurring or guest starring roles, as well as most of the original creative team. My wife will say the same about the follow-up Gilmore Girls mini-series (though she wasn’t wild about the ending), which also featured the same cast and creative talent. I liked adult Veronica Mars more than I liked kid Veronica Mars, but I suspect I’m alone in that. I have, by contrast, disliked every series that doesn’t bring back BOTH the stars and the creatives.

If Tim Allen and the show’s original creative team want to work on bringing back Home Improvement, I’ll consider it. But if it’s just Tim Allen’s vanity exercise, then it’s worth reminding him that his real last name is D*ck, and he spent time in prison for selling drugs to children (just need to keep him humble).
