WB Plays Strike Games, Suspends Contracts of Star Showrunners

The contract of Chuck Lorre ("2.5 Men," "Big Bang," "Young Sheldon," etc.) was suspended shortly after the WGA strike began and now Lorre has been joined by J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot ("Watchmen" at WB), Greg Berlanti (the Arrowverse and most of the other scripted shows of the Dare to Defy-era CW), Bill Lawrence ("Ted Lasso"), John Wells ("E/R," "Shameless") and Mindy Kaling (Max's "Velma"---and Max's "Sex Lives of College Girls"--"Mindy Project" was under her previous contract with Universal):


Now it should be pointed out that as in the past, the contracts are just suspended and should go back in effect at the end of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, but considering the bad blood on both sides and that Daddy Zaslav seems to have no interest in scripted TV...
