CNN Streaming on HBO Max Ending

As their second attempt at streaming is about to start, it's no surprise that the 24/7 live stream will end on Nov. 17--however, "CNN Originals" will continue to be on HBO Max, so those who want to watch Stanley Tucci's food shows or "Have I Got News for You" will find no changes:

Explain it to me like I'm stupid...Warner Brothers (in whatever form it was in - I don't recall if the Discovery merger had cleared) tried this before in 2022, as CNN+ - it failed after only ONE MONTH.  Why, in the name of all that's holy, is Zazlav trying this again?

I'm guessing that it was Paste-Eater Licht that made the decision before Daddy Zaslav could stop it. As I understand it, CNN+ didn't have a 24/7 live feed. This will and also includes full website access, which + didn't have (because there was no pay wall yet). Also, there are those who felt that the streaming attempt was not given a full chance thanks to being the creation of the previous management. We shall see.
