Victoria Alonso, in charge of post-production, effects and animation for Marvel and a veteran from the beginning of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, was a producer of the Oscar-nominated for international film "Argentina: 1985," a drama about human rights abuses in her home country for Amazon, and allegedly violated Disney policy by doing interviews for the film and showing up at the Oscars with the film's director instead of the "Black Panther 2" entourage--she also challenged former CEO Bob Chapek to stand up to DeSantis over the "Don't Say Gay" bill and was told she could not do any more interviews for Marvel films--her response was that male Disney employees have made worse violations and only got wrist-slaps:
It should be mentioned that Alonso, as the person in charge for VFX for Marvel, was on the firing line for the so-called "pixel f--king" the studio was making over effects scenes in Marvel films and TV shows, although her boss Kevin Feige was personally involved in some of those actions. It's been no secret that the quality of the VFX has come into question in recent Marvel output.
