Colbert *not* a rerun tonight

Based on Cheeto's medical condition, they scrapped a planned rerun of Tuesday night's post-blankshow episode for a new one.  CBS medical correspondent Dr. Jon LaPook is scheduled to appear.

Boy was I surprised when I tuned in. I was expecting at first a rerun and then just a new monologue segment, which he’s done on some Friday nights in the past. 

Bill Maher is dark this week so Stephen has the Cheeto Medical Comedy all to himself tonight. 

I wonder how this will impact SNL tomorrow. Are they writing furiously or scrapping material furiously? Either way I imagine that no one in the writers room will be sleeping tonight.
