Missing projections by 2 million new subscribers: ~2M instead of 4M.

They blame Covid for disrupting supply of new content. But, could it be Disney+, which already has almost half total subscribers as Netflix?

This might have something to do with it... as places open up, many people are dropping streaming services

The high churn rates in streaming services are a big problem, but this article is still reporting high projections for Netflix new subscribers, which was missed.

It’s not surprising that Netflix and others streamers are not growing as fast as we come out of the pandemic lockdown as they did last year. But what is surprising, or at least ominous, is this article reporting that for the first time college students do not rate video as their #1 leisure activity.
