Fans hardly took the X statement seriously, expecting the entertainer to introduce a(nother) new edibles product (last year, f'rinstance, he was the face of Snazzle O's, a Funyuns-like infused snack)...

One of the last shows I worked on was the Source Sound Lab, a hip hop version of American Bandstand. It was a horrible show for many reasons, but none of those reasons had anything to do with Snoop Dogg, who could not have been more professional. I have personally experienced his work ethic a few times, watched as various overeager law enforcement officers pulled him over after events and shows, confident they’d find drugs in his car — nope. 

Of course he did drugs, just as Dean Martin drank, but they did their jobs. The bad-boy image sells records… always has, always will. If Snoop is stopping smoking, I trust he has his reasons. If he continues to smoke, it’s frankly no business of mine.
