Trump has become the biggest attention grabber in US history. And he’s disabled the institutional executive branch so much that White House communications have become whatever he posts to his twitter clone in the middle of the night. We should know enough now that what he posts or says to reporters has nothing to do with reality. Nobody has ever dealt with this before so they treat it as what came before him. Simply put, you can’t know what he thinks or if it has anything to do with his public pronouncements.
