I hope they're not going to put this into production until they can have full studio audiences, because half the fun of the original was the red, blue, and "banana" rooting sections.

The blurb seemed to indicate that they are going to have a "house party" atmosphere, which sounds like they're adapting for no audience or a Zoom audience (which is not the fake "virtual audiences" on Fox's reality shows, I hope). That along with the fact that the couples are playing for charity would seem to indicate no bananas section this time.

Actually, the virtual audience on Masked Singer S5 is real...but the audience only sees the performances (no clues, no judges, etc.)

And they're still putting in the canned response and the fake audience insert shots (which they did on the "Name That Tune" reboot, which was shot in Australia with a live audience--they still taped phony reactions to insert into the show). Fox reality chief Rob Wade is making up for what he couldn't do for all the years he showran "Dancing with the Stars" because it was <TomBergeron>LIIIIIIIIVVVVEEEE!<TB>
