Three friends of mine who were pages that year readily dispute/refute the story. 

A curtain was indeed put up in studio one when I was there in ‘97-‘98… for the Howie Mandel show. I recall it had to be adjusted a couple of times because that part of the ceiling (above the permanent audience seating) wasn’t designed to support any additional weight. 

Not sure who the woman is in the video, but her support of Tori Spelling as a talk show house made me instantly doubt what she was going to say.

She was at 3000 West Alameda through parts of the Big Jaw era... has credits at all four of the majors.

Apparently CBS liked her enough to hire her for both "The Doctors" and "Dr Phil".     B

It’s been years since I last listened to Mark Malkoff’s Carson Podcast. He talked to pretty much everybody still living who worked on The Tonight Show and nobody told that story. She said she worked for a producer named Stu and IMDB doesn’t show a producer or production manager with that name. I don’t have the connections to disprove the story but it doesn’t ring true to me.

This smells like bull shit on several axes. 

What got my attention: I thought the Tik Tok was limited to like 8 seconds? Seems like everyday I am learning how much I don’t know about that platform (at least I thin I am spelling it right now).
