As noted on tonight's show, the recently renamed Late Show Band has an album that dropped today.  Available via your usual streaming options, such as the YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/@GreatBigJoyMachine/videos. Proceeds to benefit MusicCares.
Colbert features on at least one track, and several of the pieces (if not all, my ears aren't encyclopedic) are full versions of what they play during the bumpers in and out of breaks.  In that way, it's resonant with the Late Show EP released way back in 2016.
A vinyl edition will be available in a few weeks.

Well, now I know what the snippet at the end of every Youtube clip from Steve is called.
Wimpishly, it's "The Late Show Band."

"What's with the glasses?" asked Ry on one recent episode... "Vanna Vision!"

They can't wait to show Larry Ellison their new fall schedule (according to
THR, all times Eastern, new shows in caps):

MONDAY
8:00--FBI
9:00--CIA
10:00--Harlan Coben's Final Twist (the only unscripted on the schedule
besides Wednesday nights)

NCIS TUESDAY
8:00--Original
9:00--NEW YORK--LL Cool J is back in the franchise, description not really
necessary
10:00--Origins (fall), Sydney (midseason)

WEDNESDAY
8:00--Survivor
9:30--The Amazing Race (are we getting two "TAR"s this season, or is
mid-season going to be Padma's cooking show and the excerable reboot of
"Hollywood Squares"?).

THURSDAY
8:00--Georgie and Mandy
8:30--ETERNALLY YOURS--From the showrunners of US "Ghosts," a single-cam
sitcom about vampires. Of course.
9:00--Elsbeth
10:00--CUPERTINO--From the Kings, a legal drama set in Silicon Valley about
an attorney that fights Big Tech. In the immortal words of Chappell Roan,
good luck babe.

BRUCKHEIMER FRIDAY
8:00--Sheriff Country
9:00--Fire Country (and yes, a medical show in the "Country" franchise is
coming)
10:00--Boston Blue

SATURDAY
8:00--Reruns
10:00--48 Hours

SUNDAY
7:00--Bari Weiss' new anti-woke 60 Minutes
8:00--Marshals
9:00--Tracker
10:00--Reruns (aah, football overruns) (there will be something first run
mid-season probably "Einstein," about the crime-fighting greatgrandson of
Albert, and I assume he's big on "Beany and Cecil" reruns)
Mark Jeffries <spotl...@gmail.com>: Apr 16 09:06PM -0700

Addendum: "Ghosts" and that hot babe "Matlock" are back mid-season, with
22-ep orders ("Ghosts" will have two one-hour holiday specials).

I remember when the upfronts were lavish, star-studded events staged in big
venues like Radio City Music Hall.

Now, I fully expect them to take place in a Motel 6 off the Jersey
turnpike.

The parent nonprofit of the *Baltimore Banner* rides in on the proverbial
white horse to spare the P-G:

Moi, Jan 9th:

The Block family, owners of the *Post-Gazette*, said it will close down the
down-to-two-days-a-week paper paper and website in early May... their legal
battles with unionized labor reached the Supreme Court, which ruled
Wednesday in favor of making the publisher go back to the bargaining table
and restore employees' health-care coverage... Block's other property in
the area, the City Paper, bit the dust last week:

Bob, I have some connection to the publisher of the Banner, and the P-G
literally could not have found a better place to land. They have done an
amazing job in Baltimore, and their culture is A perfect match for the
Post-Gazette.
