Red Bull got a F1 driver on Colbert on Thursday night and another F1 driver on Fallon on Friday night.

Has Red Bull suddenly invested in Paramount and Comcast stock?

Don't know about the stock investment, but the Red Bull Formula 1 team did have a big season launch event in NYC on Friday.

F1 does seem to be having a resurgence in the U.S.  There are three events scheduled in the States this year, which hasn't happened in decades.

Is F1 the racing thing where the car has to make turns in both directions?

Ford just announced they are partnering with Red Bull (or re-partnering; I guess Red Bull used to be Jaguar Racing, and Ford used to make their engines).

As Dave says, there are 3 F1 races in the US (most in any one country) and 5 I think in North America. You will most definitely be seeing a lot more about F1 in US media this year (season starts in March).

And of course F1 is owned by John Malone (the largest private landowner in the US according to the Wikis). Not sure is one of his corporate interests is getting more directly into carrying F1 (he used to own a couple of CBS affiliates).

I have been into F1 for a couple of years now, and have been watching it in the F1 App, but they are easily watched on ESPN.

Interesting hearing that about F1. With Jimmy doing that bumper car race I thought they were promoting that EV race in Brooklyn.

I live in the heart of NASCAR country now and its popularity has seriously faded in the last decade or so.
