As the prospective new owners of The CW may want to turn the network into a prime time conduit for their ailing cable channel NewsNation and the network known for not cancelling a lot of shows is cancelling right and left, this could be the last fall schedule.  From the PR, etc.:

MONDAY:
8:00--All-American
9:00--All-American Homecoming

TUESDAY:
8:00--THE WINCHESTERS--It's "Supernatural"'s prequel, where we meet Sam and Dean's parents and find that the apples didn't fall far from the tree.  Jensen Ackles is back as Dean, but as an off-camera narrator.
9:00--PROFESSIONALS--This Irish-South African co-production stars Tom Welling as a security expert and Brendan Fraser as the Musk-ian kazillionaire for which Welling is investigating a case involving an exploded satellite.

WEDNESDAY:
8:00--DC's Stargirl (new night)
9:00--Kung Fu

THURSDAY:
8:00--Walker
9:00--WALKER INDEPENDENCE--The "Walker Texas Ranger" reboot gets a prequel concerning Walker's grandmother in a small Texas town in the 1880s, kicking butt and naming names.

FRIDAY:
8:00--Penn & Teller Fool Us
9:00--Whose Line Is It Anyway?

SATURDAY:
8:00--MAGIC WITH THE STARS--D-listers team up with professional magicians to perform illusions in front of a panel of judges including Criss Angel (who is one of the producers).
9:00--World's Funniest Animals

SUNDAY IS HOSER NIGHT, EH?:
8:00--FAMILY LAW--A law firm run by a dysfunctional family takes cases involving other dysfunctional families.  This drama just finished its second season on Canada's Global and stars Victor Garber and C-Dub fave Jewel Staite.
9:00--Coroner (new night)

The rest to come--damn laptop.

Page 2:

Mid-season marks the last season of "Riverdale," new seasons of "The Flash," "Nancy Drew" and "Superman & Lois" plus these new shows:
GOTHAM KNIGHTS--Bruce Wayne is dead and his adopted son is teaming up with the offspring of some of his foes to take over as the new Dark Knights, but with Harvey Dent on their tails.  Among the cast is "High School Musical the Series the Musical" co-star Olivia Ro--se Keegan.  (Gotcha.)
RECIPE FOR DISASTER--Bizzaro World "Top Chef."  Professional chefs join up with clueless assistants (with some sort of relationship to the chef) to make spectacular dishes in the worst possible studio conditions.  No host announced, from Canuck 3Bird Media, so it'll probably be shot in Canada.

Now stay tuned for Brad's final haikus for upfront and see you next year.

Is this one drawing "Arrested Development" comparisons?     B

And not to be confused with the CBS series "Family Law" (1999-2002) starring Kathleen Quinlan.
(And running in repeats on Start TV at one time, though it's not in their current rotation.)
