Which New York-based talk show host was serviced by a hooker in the mid 1990s?

Marc Maron interviewed Jillian Lauren for his podcast and it went online last Thursday.
http://www.wtfpod.com/podcast/episodes/episode_234_-_jillian_lauren
Lauren is an author who wrote about her time in the harem of the prince of Brunei, brother of the Sultan of Brunei, one of the world's richest men.
Lauren talked about working as a stripper as a teenager and later as a prostitute in New York. Maron asked about her celebrity clients. She said she had one who was a New York-based talk show host. She didn't give his name.
She did say, however, that they talked about his background in theater. Lauren thought she wanted to be an actress at that time and was active in theater.
To me, after listening to most of "The War for Late Night" by Bill Carter on audiobook, that points at Conan O'Brien. She said after they talked for a while, the host said he wanted to show her something. She expected the worst, but it turned out to be only a massive collection of cowboy boots. Does anyone know if O'Brien has a cowboy boot fetish?
Any other possible candidates?
By the way, she also said he is no longer on the air, but I got the sense she was dissembling because Maron was zeroing in one someone.
The irony of course is that O'Brien was the only talk show that had Maron as a performer for a long time.

I heard the same podcast. I know Conan has a love of folksy music, but
whether that leads to a cowboy boot collection is anybody's guess. In
truth, my mind leapt to Don Imus, which is a visual I wish I never
imagined.

Absent something in the interview that suggests it was a late-night host, I think the field is wide open.  Plenty of daytime talkers of the Maury ilk were going strong; how many were in New York?  Craig Kilborn was in NYC for The Daily Show in the mid-to-late 90s.

Then there's Olbermann, who has worn cowboy boots in interviews.  No idea about a theater background for Olby.

As far as I know, Conan doesn't have any sort of theater background -- his background was in writing, not in performing (which was fairly obvious during his first few years on "Late Night").

Conan did some improv work with (I think) the Groundlings in LA, but had no background in theater.

My guess would be Imus, given his penchant for westernwear.

She said it was somebody who isn't currently doing a show, so that
rules out Conan. The name that came to mind to me was Arsenio Hall,
but I don't think he did his show from New York.

All roads lead to Joe Franklin.

Which would make Sarah Silverman's segment of The Aristocrats doubly amusing

Oh god.  I hadn't even considered Joe Franklin. That's a level of creepy my brain can't handle.

We could be overlooking another option... female hosts.

Okay, I finally made it to a bookstore on Friday. Remember those? At any rate, I found Bill Carter's "The War for Late Night" in paperback and looked up the theater references. It's on pages 57 and 62, among others. It was in what I think was Conan's second stint in theater that he and others, including I think Smigel, came up with what became Chicago Superfans "Da Bears." So Conan definitely has some theater background.
Maron appeared recently on Conan O'Brien. I don't know how long in advance it was booked. It would be interesting if Conan summoned him after the hooker podcast.
I think it was Conan who had sex with the hooker.
