It would be hard for me to envision two more gobsmackingly overrated shows than this one and "Freaks and Geeks."

I’m the first to admit that Freaks and Geeks didn’t resonate with me, but it wasn’t a bad series. My So Called Life, frankly, could not be hyped enough; it took what looked to be stereotypes and instantly made them real, putting them into interesting situations, and having them react as people instead of TV characters. In summary, Ebeneezer Dave is wrong in his assessment.
