The streaming extensions of "Evening News" and "Mornings" will be dropped (the latter was also being seen at 9 a.m. on some CBS-owned stations), the hosts of Saturday "Mornings" have been canned and the production staff folded into the weekday show and the South African bureau has shut down, changes supposedly in the planning before Bari Weiss was hired (on the daily editorial call she said it was "a difficult day" at the net, to which some probably privately said "no s---t, bitch"):

That's unfortunate. I enjoyed CBS Mornings ... <long awkward pause> ... Saturday

As everyone here knows, CBS News no longer exists, so everyone who worked there before should consider themselves laid off from CBS News, whether they still get a paycheck or not.

I found the music offerings on CBS Saturday Mornings to be really interesting, if not always to my taste.  I will miss that.
