I think this is just a question of whomever has the proper sized dump truck full of cash they would want to spend on this.  Nashville can handle that much TV production.

I am aware that both of these people are famous Country singers, thought I could not name or recognize a single one of their songs. I had no idea they were married to each other, though maybe thats not true, if it was mentioned in the Ken Burns doc then I just forgot.

Brother and I watched all or most of it, but Burns' CM was long enough ago that danged if we would remember either... I know someone who has the video, so I'll find out soon.  B

For me, it's not a question of whether Nashville could handle the production; it's more whether there are enough mainstream (read: non-Country musician) celebs willing to travel to Nashville to prevent the show from becoming "Hee Haw Talks!"

A big unknown for all talk programs is how much they will continue to do interviews via teleconference.  If the answer is larger than zero, then there might be a case for doing something out of Nashville, especially if it's a weekly.

TNN (The Nashville Network) used to have 2 regular talk shows.

Crook and Chase hosted by Lorraine Crook and Charlie Chase

and Nashville Now hosted by Ralph Emery and co-hosted by

puppet Shotgun Red.   I didn't watch these regularly but I

think they concentrated on Nashville music celebrity guests

or movie/TV people who were working in Nashville.

If they don't need in person guests anybody could do a talk show

from anywhere but it would have to have better production

values than the shows people are doing on YouTube from their

basements.

I believe Kellie Pickler's talk show was also based in Nashville.

Kelly Clarkson and Drew Barrymore have shown how it’s possible to do. The advantage any show trying it from now on would have is that people have spent 18 months figuring out how to do it.
