Adding to Mr. Jeffries' fine notification:
Parker "Aitken" will be playing on the team with his parents. McPhee is Parker's aunt, given that she is married to his uncle who is his mother's brother.
(I'll have to record the episode, my first time to see the show, just as I had to watch for the first time The Masked Singer earlier this year. Because I'll be at the musical Back to the Future that evening.)
About Smash -- I'm not impressed by what I've read about the Broadway version. All of the music from the series is on my household playlist. Kudos to the entire Smash cast for taking part in the Broadway tribute to the series several years ago where I was fortunate to get a last minute ticket. I've now seen both Hilty and McPhee in concert -- separately (McPhee tours with her husband). Hilty will be back on Broadway in the fall in Death Becomes Her, I believe.
And, speaking of Smash cast members, who knew that our ex-president was obsessed with Debra Messing? It's in Ramin Setoodeh's book, Apprentice in Wonderland.
