Sid Ramin's body of work encompasses everything from commercial jingles ('Music to Watch Girls By" for Diet Pepsi and "Let Hertz Put You in the Driver's Seat") to TV themes ("The Patty Duke Show" theme) to Broadway and film scores and orchestrations--he won an Oscar and a Grammy for his orchestrations for "West Side Story" (which he originally did for Broadway) and a daytime Emmy for "All My Children" (could not claim an EGOT):
