If she gets into trouble, all that proves is that the applicable authorities were willing to do that.

If I’ve heard of her, I’ve forgotten her. I suspect after this story runs its course, I’ll never hear about her again.

Really?  The female lead in “Lost”?  Elf-warrior Tauriel in “The Hobbit” franchise?  The love interest to Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man in the MCU?  She’s probably not going to get a lifetime achievement Oscar anytime soon, but she’s actually kind of a big deal…especially with the fantasy/comic book fanbois.

Didn’t watch Lost. I don’t like Tolkien. I’m DC, not Marvel.

I am a big Tolkien fan, but that has nothing to do with those Hobbit films.

Just the other week I googled Lily to see what had happened to her. I had a vague memory of her saying near the end of Lost that she was going to walk away from acting, something to the effect that she had already decided to quit right before she booked Lost, and was just riding it out because acting was too superficial or soul sucking or something. I had forgotten she was Tauriel (kind of a poor man’s Liv Tyler), and have not seen any of the Ant Man films, though my kids keep recommending them, so I was surprised to find that she was actually regarded as a fairly major movie star. I guess she found acting to be less superficial after all.

I was a little more alarmed about this story when the first I heard of it sounded like she had tested positive and was still not isolating. I don’t know where she lives, but if it is CA I doubt her kids Gym Camp will be going business as usual anymore, and I doubt her father’s oncologist is too pleased with her cavalier attitude about exposing him to the virus. I’m not sure what she means by a”respiratory flu”, but even if it was just the flu she would want to be super careful exposing her father to it (and this thing is substantially fatal than the flu, especially to those over 75).

Given the film franchise, I expect we are less than 72 hours from a semi apologetic walk back.

Meanwhile, her old Lost co-star Daniel Dae Kim *is* COVID-19 positive.

Huh, that took a little longer than I thought it would.

She is originally from Canada, but has resided for some time in Hawaii

[and yes, Hawaii has coronavirus cases and is a fairly strict enforcer of "stay-at-home" orders]

For those wondering, nope, she hasn't changed her tune.

Of course, the impact here is going to be minimal...the third Ant-Man film is most likely wrapped, and if Disney was unwilling to shelve or reshoot "Death on the Nile" to avoid questions regarding Armie "I'm a Sexual Deviant" Hammer, they're most likely not going to do it here.

Very last line of the article (TL;DR?):  "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has wrapped and will be seen in theaters on July 28, 2023."     B
