Paid Broccoli/Wilson $1 billion to form a joint venture with them, after Barbara once called the Bezos company "f-cking idiots."

Sigh.

We’re going to get the “Young James Bond Chronicles,” and the “Q and Moneypenny” spinoff, and the “Son of Bond” miniseries, and the Bond/NCIS crossover event. It’s going to be oversaturated and run into the ground.

Well, we already had the "007's Road to a Million" reality comp, hosted by Brian Cox.

And for some reason, we're getting another season of that. Did *anybody* actually watch it? Truly terrible. And it was obvious that all the Brian Cox stuff was added months down the line after production.

I think we have been waiting for this since Amazon first bought the rights to the Bond franchise. I am surprised it took this long.

That link from February expired, Joe, but Prime Video UK digitally removed guns from social-post photos from the Bond legacy, which were eventually pulled... only to be replaced by more photos in which 007 is not carrying a weapon:

There was an excellent article in the WSJ on the stalemate a couple months ago (this should avoid the paywall).
