Lana Love, and plenty of other folks, thought they were vying for a spot alongside a "Grammy-winning" star on HBO's "Wings of Voice," 'cept that was actually a front for (as V called him) "television's greatest anthropologist," who in this latest season of The Rehearsal, was actually helping airline pilots overcome their interpersonal communication issues in part by making them "reality-comp judges"... she isn't "sure whether he's a psychopath or a genius"...
I'd love to know Casey Bloys' view on this...

The problem is that she should have realized that with the possible exception of "Project Greenlight," HBO DOESN'T DO THOSE KINDS OF SHOWS, WHETHER IT BE HBO OR MAX ORIGINALS.  (And I'm including that unsuccessful reboot of "Tattletales" that ran on Max.)  The fact that HBO was mentioned at all in the notices should've been a big red flag. After all, it's not TV, it's HBO.
