Spoilers ahead: Not sure if anyone else in the group is watching this series. I think I like it more than the original Yellowstone, only because I don’t consider modern ranching to be a cutthroat business, whereas 100 years ago I suspect it was a harder life for everyone in general, and thus more dramatic. That said, this week’s episode was egregious in its attempts to cut production costs by eliminating cast members. I didn’t watch Game of Thrones, but the Red Wedding episode did not escape my pop culture awareness… this week’s episode was quite the bloodbath. Next week’s opening credits only need to be about three seconds long.
