Monday night is "The Worst of the Late Show (Not a Clip Show)." I assume that will feature Brian Stack. Tuesday is Jon Stewart, Steven Spielberg and Colbert singing with David Byrne. Wednesday, the boss gets the tables turned on him with the Colbert Questionert, with surprise guests. No indication who'll be the final show on Thursday (the Pope?):

If the price for Colbert's cancellation is not having to endure Stack anymore, I'm willing to pay it.

The show's YouTube page has *already* posted an extended version of the episode, where the studio audience is show staff.  I haven't watched the whole thing, but 20 minutes in, no Stack sightings.  The video also seems to include footage of the band during the commercial breaks.

At 51:30 in, "Shriekin' Joe," a character whose appearances knocked the ratings way down with the show in progress in 2017, has to be Stack.

Confirmed by the Youtube channel:
"The most divisive character in the history of The Late Show returns for one final glorious appearance. Special thanks to Late Show writer and comedy legend Brian Stack!"
