Dan Wootton, a weeknight host on GB News, was accused by free news site BylineTimes of posing as a fictitious talent agent offering piles of cash to folks in exchange for (ahem) explicit photos and videos... Cleese has also been a contributor to said site, and called on the "mainstream press" to look into this, which the Sun and MailOnline (for which Wootton also writes a column) will...

No - this happened years ago. And Wootton has nothing to do with Huw Edwards. But I can see how the connection could be drawn. Nonetheless, it's a coincidence.
