She was such a wonderful entertainer, and brought so much laughter to people!

I recently had a very good friend of a similar age as O’Hara die unexpectedly after a very brief illness like a couple of days, so those feelings are very real and raw to me.

O’Hara was wonderful, even in projects that we’re not quite worthy of her talent. When she was in a quality project, it became transcendent. It seems to be most of the obits I’ve read since yesterday highlight second city, home alone, Schitzs Creek. I would echo the first and the third of those, but for me my memories of her lead off with a mighty wind, Which is one of my favorite comedy films of all time and showcases her unique gifts for straight out comedy and bringing a certain vulnerability and emotional openness to it otherwise is usually a very broad and harsh medium. Her talent and her presence really was more precious than a pot of gold…
