He tried to pursue a music career away from Paul and Mary, in the 70s... didn't go far except for one of the most-annoying songs in pop music, "Torn Between Two Lovers," which he co-wrote and produced for (the kinda-good-looking) Mary MacGregor... in NYC, from bladder cancer; 86.

He was basically forced into a solo career when Paul and Mary distanced themselves from him after he was convicted of sexual abuse of a minor (he was later pardoned by Jimmy Carter) - although they did reunite toward the end of the 1970s, well after he'd served his time - so it's a little odd that you spotlighted THAT aspect of his career in this one-liner.

He's seen as a character in a couple of scenes in the current Bob Dylan biopic "A Complete Unknown," in his capacity as a member of the board of the Newport Folk Festival.

I do that sometimes, knowing any of you can bring other aspects like those to the front...      B
