This guy lived a full life... writer at Rolling Stone, among many publications... got hired by Sorkin for "Sports Night" after seeing a spec script he did with "Kid in the Hall" Mark McKinney... moved on to "West Wing," "Studio 60..." and "The Newsroom"... then wrote for talk shows, the last being CNN's "Smerconish"... Aug 15th from a rare blood cancer; 63.
