You have to subscribe for the News Network.   Well I just got a notification of a free period. Not that the current US President cares about reason.   Because the body of water in question is not fully contained within the US, and the US President does not have the authority to change the names of geographical entities outside the US, the AP will continue to use the name recognized internationally for 400 years, while also noting that in the US it is officially known by the new name.
