Quickie Review: Little House on the Prairie

My wife and I watched this Netflix series over the last week. It was well written and well acted, but Pa Ingalls will always be Michael Landon, and Laura Ingalls will always be Melissa Gilbert. Maybe it’s like James Bond or Superman, and every generation needs to recast the characters to tell the stories. I don’t have anything especially bad to say about the series and I’d be pleased if they do a second season, but the whole time I watch it, I’m gonna be thinking “where’s Michael Landon and Melissa Gilbert?”
