There are SoCal preservationists (“Some of these houses are almost TWENTY years old!” - Steve Martin in LA Story) ticked off that many older parts of the facility are being stripped away. ‘Tis folly to point out that it’s a working studio, and if it didn’t occasionally upgrade, the stages built in the era of silent films still wouldn’t have walls.
