Jazz flautist and spiritualist Paul Horn may be noted by more people as the father of New Age music, playing it 20 years before it had a name, but to television viewers' his most familiar work was composing and performing the theme music and underscore for "Clutch Cargo," the animated (if you could call it that) series that used the "Synchro-Vox" technique of the voice actors' lips superimposed onto the drawings for maximum creepiness--neither the JazzTimes nor BBC obits mention Clutch & Co., but some obit will:



Mr. Horn also wrote and performed the theme music for a more traditional limited animation series from "Clutch" producers Cambria Studios, "The New 3 Stooges," which some of you who watched 60s kids TV may remember.  The titles for "Clutch":
