We could say that this is the first cancellation of the barely two-week-old fall season, but the in-house animated show from Fox-owned Bento Box isn't on the fall schedule on Animation Domination Sunday--they've officially said it's done, and from the ratings very few people will notice:

And no syndication potential--only "The SImpsons" was successful in syndication among cartoons (yeah, "The Flintstones," but that was 30 years prior and mostly in kiddie slots). One assumes that Fox will license the show to a streamer or put it on Tubi.

Oops--"The Great North" is owned by Disney (probably sold to Fox before 20th-Century was sold to the Mouse), so it'll be on Disney+ under the Hulu tile.

Co-producer Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin's husband Matt Logelin was, once upon a time, my boss.

Their meeting is dramatized in the Netflix movie "Fatherhood" starring Kevin Hart (which is primarily about Hart's character suddenly becoming a single father after his wife dies shortly after childbirth).
