Okay, Nielsen now has some way of figuring out how to include
DVR-recorded time-shifted viewing. Does anyone know how that works?

Specifically, I'm wondering if my personal DVR technique would be
screwing up the calculation if my machine was being monitored (which
it can't be without my knowledge, right?).

Last night, for instance, I recorded Scrubs and The Middle. But in
order not to lose the end gag on Scrubs, I set the box to record
Scrubs plus 30 minutes. So would Nielsen know that meant I was
watching The Middle as well?

They send out special dvr units in certain markets...big markets.
Teeny tiny ones like mine are not special enough for such monitoring.
