I’ve added Disney+/ESPN+ to my Hulu bundle, and given that my brother watches at most a dozen channels (including the ESPNs), I’m looking at trimming the cable down to the locals.

So a couple questions:

Could somebody explain the difference between the HBO streaming options (Now, Go, Max)? At this point, I’d just as well stick to the Suddenlink version, which is paired with Cinemax.

Does ESPN+ allow me to stream the entire portfolio of channels?

Someone else will do a better job of this, but for now, my understanding is:

1) Go is the streaming option for current HBO subscribers, Now for those who want to stream without a current subscription. Max I think will take the place of both, and have additional content.

2) ESPN+ does not give you access to content from the mothership or the deuce, mostly the online content from ESPN3.

HBO Go is for Cable subscribers who get HBO. It lets you stream at no extra cost.
HBO Now is for cordcutters to stream HBO at $15 a month
HBO Max will release in May for $15 a month. It will have HBO + extra stuff like Friends, Big Bang Theory, South Park, and Doctor Who.

It looks like HBO Now subscribers will be switched to HBO Max if they buy directly from HBO, but not from a third party.
