The FX remake won four Television Critics Association awards for program of the year, new program, drama series and Anna Sawai's star-making performance, making the Disney prestige channel the big winner last night--other multiple winners were Max for "Hacks" (comedy series and Jean Smart for individual achievement--they included HBO in the citation, even though the series is plainly labeled a "Max Original" and has not aired on HBO), Disney+ for "Bluey" (children's series) and "Doctor Who" (family series, despite the whining of some Whovians who believe Disney has ruined the series) and Netflix for "John Mulaney Presents: Everyone's in LA" (variety/talk) and "Baby Reindeer" (miniseries):
In addition, a career achievement award was given to the late Andre Braugher.
