CBS has ordered "Superfan," a "musical spectacle disguised as a game show" where admirers compete for an "ultimate experience" with their favorite artist. I'll guess that prominently-pictured-in-the-piece Keltie Knight, the "ET" correspondent and one of the project's execs, will also host.

That sure sounds like that short-lived show on ABC called "Big Fan" that Andy Richter hosted and Jimmy Kimmel produced (but is owned by Banijay, the French format factory that owns Bunim-Murray Productions, the people behind "The Real World" and "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," and EndemolShine ["Big Brother," "Deal or No Deal," "MasterChef," etc.]).  "Big Fan'' didn't have the music star element, but the premise is close enough that Banijay could take Paramount to court on this one.
