I believe that the Ridley Scott SF series is the first scripted series the streamer has  dropped--it is believed that the new management at Warner Bros. Discovery's passion for cost-cutting is behind the cancellation:


I can just see Zaslav walking into HBO and proposing a "Sopranos"-themed reality comp with two teams trying to wack each other off--with eliminations held at the Bada-Bing. Either that or "The Real Sex and the City."
