No, it was economics which led to the networks being granted unprecedented availability (considering the production standards are lower than college TV and the content is worse than a 10 year old’s YouTube vlog). Politics (specifically dangerous broadcasts supporting violent insurrectionists and equally deadly false statements about Covid) led to them being pulled.
