...to show "important local community content" "like religious services" in those time periods without rescheduling the keed-stuff (altho they ask that reskedding be done if possible)

Kevin M, to moi, today (4/09):
No sporting events... why aren’t they putting educational/informational programming when they’d typically have sports?

The networks control those time slots, reserve the right to provide alternate programs if available, and lately have been doing so.

This is an option available to them, and at least here in the east, I haven't seen the usual shows on Saturdays/Sundays blown off for anything other than government hot-air exhalations. Yet.
